Pacific NW Summer 2014

From all accounts, this was a warm summer, particularly for remarkably "high lows."  That is, the nights just didn't cool off as they normally do, making relief from aggressive highs in July/Aug/Sept difficult to find.

No triple digits in Portland, but they only tend to happen every other year or so. I'm sure the 99-degree days were close enough.

The divide between Seattle and Vancouver this year was about as pronounced as possible. Vancouver was even cooler than coastal Astoria, but Seattle was closer to Portland's temperatures than it has been recently.
