Pacific NW Summer 2021
While smoke didn't plague western Oregon and Washington to the extent it did last year, though it did repeatedly reach the East Coast, record-setting heat in late June more than made up for it. Oregon, Washington, and BC set so many all-time records—and by a mile—that the records may not be broken for some time. For example, Portland broke its old record by 8 degrees, while Seattle matched Portland's old record!
In addition, the rain basically stopped sometime in spring and didn't resume until nearly the end of summer.
